Is whey powder taken from cows milk halal?

"I Begin In The Name Of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Compassionate"

Assalamu Alaykum,

In a simple answer, yes it can be. However, it is not always the case as to create Whey Powder, there is a process in place which could ultimately result in the Whey Powder Becoming Haram.

Jazakallah.
