It has come to my attention that certain warburton breads contain E920. I would appreciate if you would investigate this further.
Assalamu Alaykum,
After carrying out further investigation with regards to E920, our research has identified that E920 which is an ingredient found in Warburton's Bread can be gained through plant extract, thus making the ingredient potentially vegetarian also.
Working with Warburton's, they have reassured us that all their bread products do not contain any animal ingredients whatsoever, nor does it have alcohol within it either; thus concluding that the product is suitable for Halal Consumption.
Jazakallah, for your question as it has allowed us to up date the E-Numbers section and also gives the Muslim community a brand of bread which they can be comfortable with eating.
